Moving can be stressful. We want to make it as easy as possible to ensure you get as much of your security deposit back as possible. Here are some helpful tips to follow upon move out:
- Remove all trash/items for the unit
- Replace all bulbs/batteries
- Remove broken blinds and work with property manager for replacement to ensure matching style
- Leave the unit completely empty/undamaged to avoid additional charges
- Stop your utility services on your move out date and not before
- Ensure the yard is mowed one last time before move out
- Set thermostat at 65 for heat or 75 for AC and ensure all filters changed
- Place keys, mailbox keys, and garage door openers in envelope with name and address on it and return/drop in rental payment box at 1200 Joyce Blvd
- Provide forwarding address in order to receive security deposit paperwork
- Security Deposit – there will be a cleaning and carpet cleaning fee deducted from your security deposit, any other charges deducted will be based on any necessary repairs and the unit’s condition.
- Please note that you will continue to be charged rent until we receive all keys back, so please make sure to drop them off on move out day.
